Missouri residents who want to vote in the Nov. 3 general election have until Wednesday, Oct. 7, to register.

The deadline appears on the Missouri Secretary of State’s official 2026 election calendar. The office lists Nov. 3 as Election Day and Oct. 7 as the last day to register.

Eligible residents may submit an online registration application, print and mail an application, register in person or request an application by mail through the Secretary of State’s voter registration page. Mailed forms must be postmarked by the deadline.

The state says applicants must be U.S. citizens and Missouri residents. A person may register at age 17½ but must be 18 to vote.

Voters who believe they are already registered can use the state’s online registration-check tool before submitting a new application. Residents who have moved or changed their names should also make sure their records are current.
