St. Louis Weather: Heat Advisory Continues Through Saturday Evening

St. Louis faces another hot Saturday, with a high near 97 degrees and a Heat Advisory in effect until 8 p.m.

ST. LOUIS — Another dangerously hot day is expected Saturday, with partly sunny skies and an afternoon high near 97 degrees.

The National Weather Service in St. Louis has continued a Heat Advisory for St. Louis city and county through 8 p.m. Heat-index values could reach 101 degrees.

Conditions were mostly clear and around 76 degrees early Saturday morning. The overnight low is expected to fall to about 71.

Residents should drink plenty of fluids, stay in air conditioning when possible, limit strenuous outdoor activity and check on relatives and neighbors. Children and pets should never be left inside parked vehicles.

Sunday should be cooler but still humid, with partly sunny skies and a high near 89.
