ST. LOUIS — The St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment is seeking organizations to operate major workforce programs, including adult career services and the city’s next summer youth employment initiative.
One request for proposals covers Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Title I career services at the SLATE Missouri Job Center, 1520 Market St. The selected provider would offer career counseling, skills assessments, job-search and placement help, case management, access to training and apprenticeships, and employer recruitment support.
SLATE also has opened a separate Summer Youth Employment Program 3.0 request for organizations that can deliver paid work experiences and career development to St. Louis residents ages 15 to 24. Both opportunities carry a Nov. 30 submission deadline, according to the city’s procurement listings.
The contracts matter to local businesses and job seekers because the chosen providers will connect residents with training and employers while administering public workforce dollars. The career-services contract is expected to begin July 1, 2027. Applicants must review each solicitation’s eligibility and performance requirements.
Details are posted through SLATE’s WIOA announcement and the agency’s official procurement listings. Questions must follow the contact and deadline rules in the original documents.
