ST. LOUIS — Mostly cloudy skies and a high near 74 degrees are forecast for Tuesday, Oct. 27, according to the National Weather Service’s point forecast for St. Louis City.
South winds are expected at 3 to 6 mph. Tuesday night should become mostly clear, with a low around 55. A light south wind is forecast to become calm during the evening.
The weather service’s 5:38 a.m. regional discussion says a passing disturbance will bring middle- and high-level clouds. Dry air below those clouds should keep most precipitation from reaching the ground; forecasters described even sprinkles as unlikely.
The city’s forecast turns sunnier and warmer Wednesday, with a high near 80. Thursday’s high is forecast near 83, followed by about 81 on Friday.
Rain chances return over the weekend. The point forecast lists a 30% chance of showers Saturday, mainly after 1 p.m., rising to 60% Saturday night, mainly before 1 a.m.
The St. Louis weather service office’s regional map listed no watches, warnings or advisories at its 6:30 a.m. Tuesday update.
The point forecast was updated at 4:26 a.m. and is valid beginning at 7 a.m. Tuesday. Residents can check the linked forecast for later updates before making weather-dependent plans.
