ST. CHARLES, Mo. — St. Charles County’s public health clinics offer tuberculosis testing by appointment, with separate skin-test and blood-test options listed in the county’s current fee schedule.

The 2026 schedule lists a $22 base fee for a PPD skin test and $75 for a QuantiFERON Gold blood test. A one-time administration fee of $16 may apply. Patients should confirm their total cost when booking, rather than assuming the posted test price is the entire bill.

The county lists clinic locations at 1650 Boone’s Lick Road in St. Charles and 600 Medical Drive, Suite 216A, in Wentzville. Call 636-949-7484 to arrange an appointment and confirm the appropriate location and available time.

The clinics’ posted office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Wentzville is appointment-only. The county asks patients to discuss what to expect during their visit when scheduling.

A positive initial TB test does not by itself establish whether someone has latent infection or active disease, according to the county’s testing guidance. Additional evaluation is needed, and clinic staff can help patients obtain follow-up care.

Some people seek testing to meet employment requirements. Anyone uncertain about whether testing is appropriate should discuss that question with a health professional. The county’s fees took effect Feb. 8, 2026; this report describes the existing service rather than a newly announced price change.
