NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The St. Louis Blues lost 3-1 to the Nashville Predators on Saturday, extending their losing streak to three games.
Jimmy Snuggerud scored the Blues’ lone goal, while goaltender Joel Hofer made 26 saves. The loss dropped St. Louis to 7-8-2. Nashville controlled enough of the game to protect its lead and prevent the Blues from building a sustained comeback.
The result leaves St. Louis searching for more consistent offense after a difficult stretch. A one-goal night increases the pressure on special teams, defensive execution and goaltending because there is little margin for a mistake at the other end.
The team’s postgame media email included sound from coach Jim Montgomery, Dylan Holloway and Connor McMichael. The shared recordings were not accessible through the authorized retrieval path Sunday morning, so this report does not attribute or reconstruct any quotes from those clips.
The Blues are off Sunday and are scheduled to practice at noon Monday at Centene Community Ice Center, according to the team’s media schedule. Game information and statistics were checked against the NHL’s official report. Roster status and the next matchup should be confirmed again after practice.
