ST. LOUIS — Dangerous heat and humidity will continue Wednesday across the St. Louis region, with the afternoon high expected near 94 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
The forecast includes a chance of showers early, followed by a slight chance of thunderstorms. Wednesday night’s low is expected near 76 degrees.
A heat advisory remains in effect across parts of the region, and the National Weather Service says hot, humid conditions will continue through Friday. Heavy rain elsewhere in the broader region could also create flooding concerns.
Residents spending extended time outside should drink water regularly, reduce strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day and check on older adults, young children and people without reliable air conditioning.
