JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Missouri voters preparing for the November election should confirm that they have an acceptable form of identification before heading to the polls.
The Missouri Secretary of State lists a nonexpired Missouri driver or nondriver license, military identification, a United States passport or another qualifying photo ID issued by Missouri or the federal government as acceptable identification.
Registered voters without an acceptable photo ID may cast a provisional ballot. The state also provides a free nondriver license for voting purposes to eligible Missourians and offers assistance obtaining supporting documents.
