ST. CHARLES, Mo. — Applications for a proposed 210-unit apartment development along Lynnbrook Drive have been withdrawn, according to the city’s revised Planning and Zoning Commission agenda.
The October 19 agenda identifies Mike Burkhart of VE Design Management as the applicant for both the rezoning request and the site plan. Each entry states that the applicant withdrew the application.
The project would have occupied approximately 11.72 acres on the north and south sides of Lynnbrook Drive at South Old Highway 94 in Ward 4. The rezoning request sought to change the property from C-2 General Business to R-3A Multiple-Family Residential.
The accompanying site plan describes a 210-unit apartment complex. Those figures describe the submitted proposal, rather than construction that had been approved or completed.
The revised agenda was posted October 16. Its withdrawal notation documents an action by the applicant; it does not show that the commission voted to reject the project.
Earlier City Council records show that the proposal had remained in the public hearing process. The St. Louis Business Journal reported the withdrawal October 23.
The reviewed agenda does not provide a reason for the withdrawal or identify a replacement development. A future proposal would need to be evaluated through its own public filings, rather than assumed to be part of this application.
