ST. LOUIS — Halloween brought out costumes, creativity and family teamwork across the St. Louis area Saturday night. During VOTP News STL’s coverage, one young cosplayer named Chaz stood out for the work that went into bringing his costume to life.
Chaz told VOTP News STL that his creation combined a jacket and accessories purchased from Amazon with handmade pieces. His design included a 3D-printed mask, spray paint, foam, fabric and felt.
But the costume was not entirely a solo project. Chaz said his mother and father helped him bring the design together, turning the effort into a family collaboration.
From the details of the mask to the handmade accessories, the finished look showed the planning and imagination that can go into a Halloween costume. What began as an idea became something Chaz could proudly wear and share with others.

A Closer Look at the Costumes

Encounters like this offered a reminder that Halloween is not just about decorations or candy. For young people like Chaz, it can be an opportunity to develop practical skills, try new ideas and make memories with the people supporting them.
VOTP News STL thanks Chaz, his family and everyone who shared their creative costumes during this year’s Halloween festivities.
