ST. LOUIS — Clouds will hold over the St. Louis region Monday as temperatures rise into the upper 60s, according to the latest forecast.
The morning begins near 56 degrees with cloudy skies. The high is expected to reach about 69 degrees, followed by a mild overnight low near 64. Drivers and people working outside should expect limited sunshine but generally dry conditions through much of Monday.
A change arrives Tuesday, when showers and a possible thunderstorm enter the forecast. Tuesday is expected to be warmer and breezy, with a high near 72 degrees before temperatures fall to around 56 Tuesday night. Anyone with outdoor plans should monitor later forecasts because the timing and coverage of storms can change.
Monday’s mild temperatures are above the kind of cold conditions that can arrive quickly in November, but residents should still plan for shifting conditions over the next two days. Keep rain gear available for Tuesday and allow extra travel time if heavier showers develop during commuting hours.
